Here It Comes

We had a break in the action here on the Tug Hill Plateau this afternoon, allowing me to go for a quick cross-country ski tour near the beautiful home we are renting and working out of.  The local residents here groom a few km of trails on the property across the street, so this is pretty much as good as it gets for ease of access.

Fresh tracks, Tug Hill style
All of our teams are now in the field and Mother Nature is pulling everything together for us.  We now have a beautiful long-lake axis band going very near the transect that we have from Lake Ontario to the Tug Hill Plateau (observing sites indicated by red squares).

Not sure if I will bother going to sleep tonight.  This event is a thing of beauty!

  1. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder! LOL! Still looking for OWLeS on Facebook ~ Keep up the good work... I'd hate to waste all this great Lake Effect!
