SOLPEX IOP3: Is This Lake Effect?

As is often the case with spring lake-effect events, the precipitation organization over and downstream of the lake has fallen apart in the afternoon.  What we are left with are scattered convective snowshowers in areas around the lake.  On the other hand, there is a strong cell (50+ dBZ) downstream of the lake, although cells of similar intensity have been observed in non-lake-effect areas over the past hour.  Is this lake effect?

This is a great case of the diurnal modulation of precipitation mode by surface heating and cooling.  I'm hoping the thermodynamics and moisture remain favorable for lake-induced convection near and following sunset so that we can get some data during reorganization.
